The Willows Nursing and Residential Home is operated under the personal direction of the family partnership of Mr Jim Cooper MA, BA (Hons), Mrs Mary Cooper SRN and their daughter Mrs Jackie Riddett RGN, MSc.(Health Studies) BSc.(Hons) Nursing Studies, DPSN, NVQ Assessor D32/33, giving the family team over 70 years of unbroken experience in providing Nursing and Residential Home care.

The Willows Nursing and Residential Home employs over 55 qualified and experienced first-level registered nurses, care assistants, catering and ancillary staff. A full-time secretary and administrator as well as a training and personnel manager complete the team. Great emphasis is placed on the selection and training of our staff, who are offered a full induction programme and NVQ training to Level 4. Our registered nurses are updated with professional courses and training. Over half of the Home’s care assistants are qualified at NVQ Level 2 and many at NVQ Level 3.

Working with the University College Northampton, The Willows Nursing and Residential Home is an approved centre of nursing excellence to provide training and experience for nursing students from the University of Northampton’s School of Nursing. It is also an approved centre to provide mentorship for the Overseas Nurses Programme.
